Dogs and Skunks

My Black Lab Jake has had more skunk encounters than I care to admit to. One of my more memorable misfortunes was last year when I was living and working on Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. I decided to take Jake for a run after work, a few 100 yards in I see a pole cat streaking across the prairie and there is old Jake in hot pursuit. Well you know how this story ends and the Air Force Security Police got a little surprise when I rolled down my truck window to show them my I.D. card when I had to drive back onto the military base. That smell lingered in my truck for weeks. Its that time of year and we have had a few people coming into to the Lion County Supply store this month for Skunk Off so consider keeping some on hand for an emergency, it removes all traces of skunk spray from dogs, clothes, cars and homes.
