Dogtra Pathfinder - Customer Review

I’m 15 years old and have a 2 1/2 year old beagle named Tiny. I’ve been researching collars and GPS systems for a few months. My dad recently took me to Lion Country Supply to look at dog tracking systems. It was recommended to try the Dogtra Pathfinder by one of the salespersons at Lion Country Supply. From my experience so far, the Dogtra Pathfinder is a great device to use. The system was very easy to set up to get started. The first time I used this device with Tiny I was very impressed with it. I knew exactly where my dog was every 2 seconds using the free app on my iPhone.

There are three things needed: a phone with the free Dogtra app and Bluetooth on, a collar, and a remote to connect everything to one another. A very interesting feature that the Dogtra Pathfinder shows different dog icons of whether the dog is sitting, barking, sitting and barking, running, running and barking, if your dog is climbing a tree, and everything else you think your dog does while hunting. The Dogtra Pathfinder also has a Geo fence that you can set up anywhere on the map on your phone so that your dog does not go out of that area. The Dogtra Pathfinder will record your hunts automatically. If you want to watch your hunt over, this is a great way to do it. I enjoy re-watching hunts.

The fact that you do not need any wireless data service to use the app to track or train your dog is great since some areas have low or no cellular service. The app offers offline maps that you can download which I thought was very helpful because most people and myself do not have cellular service during hunting. The Dogtra Pathfinder is very easy to connect your cell phone.

This device, from my experience so far, is a great tool to use out in the woods and is less expensive than the other trackers or trainers. For the price of the Dogtra Pathfinder, you get everything you need in one package instead of buying separate devices to get everything you need. I would recommend this device because of how much it has to offer the hunter and dog right out of the box. The Dogtra Pathfinder is a great device to help locate and track your dog(s). There is nothing that I would change about it. Everything about the Dogtra Pathfinder is great. I recommend buying this device because it will give you everything you need and everything you want. You will never regret buying this. I give this product a 5 out of 5 rating.
