Introducing the Dogtra Pathfinder SE Kit, an all-in-one system, which includes a special edition Pathfinder collar, GPS Connector, and a CAT S48c smart phone. No longer will you have to use your personal cell phone to use the Dogtra Pathfinder system. Paired with the tough and rugged CAT S48c smart phone, the Pathfinder SE can go anywhere, in any elements without the worry of damaging your expensive iPhone or Samsung. CAT S48c Smart Phone

Included with Dogtra Pathfinder SE Kit, you get the CAT S48c phone, which is compatible with the Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile cell networks. The phone features a 5” FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen that works with gloves or wet hands. Worried about waterproofing or dust resistance? The CAT S48c features an IP68 rating. This means that the phone can be immersed in 1 meter of water and is completely resistant to dust. Compared to the Alpha 100, that has a IPX7 rating, the device can withstand immersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes but is not dust resistant. The S48c also features a long-lasting battery (4000 mAh) that provides 30 hours of talk time or 22 days of standby time. The Dogtra Pathfinder app takes advantage of the phone features to provide dog selection using the volume controls, dedicated e-collar button on the left side, back button toggles between tags, and a best in industry app interface using the touch screen.

You may be asking, “So why buy the Pathfinder SE over the regular Pathfinder system?” The biggest reason being the CAT S48c smart phone that is included. The phone works with the app to provide features that you would otherwise have to use the touch interface. The Cat S48c is a rugged phone that will withstand hunting conditions better than a normal cell phone would. Also, with the Pathfinder SE kit, you get a limited edition of the tracking and training collar, the Dogtra Pathfinder SE Extra Collar, that features LED beacon lights similar to the Dogtra Edge collars. Tired of trying to find pockets to carry the phone and GPS connector? Now included with the Pathfinder SE Kit is a newly designed chest holster, specially designed for the CAT smartphone and GPS Connector. Also in reach and securely in place, you no longer have to find with the GPS connector not fitting in certain pockets or worrying about your phone falling out of your pocket.

Return and Repair Policy

Dogtra will be handling returns differently with the Pathfinder SE Kit. All returns and repairs will be done directly with Dogtra. The Dogtra Pathfinder SE Kit will have a 30 day return for refund policy on both the phone and the tracking system. Within the first 30 days Dogtra will handle the return and replacement of the CAT phone, after 30 days you will have to contact Bullitt (manufacturer of the phone) to request a repair or replacement. With the Pathfinder devices after 30 but before two years, contact Dogtra for a free repair or replacement. After two years on the Pathfinder devices, contact Dogtra for a repair.

Conclusion

We are very excited about this system. We have heard from many of our customers that they don’t like using their expensive smart phone while hunting and wish Dogtra had a handheld. This solution solves that problem while still allowing Dogtra to use their great user interface and mapping. For the price of $699.99 compared to the $799.99 and $999.99 of comparable Garmin systems, the Dogtra Pathfinder SE Kit makes a great tracking and training system!
