The Garmin software update previous released on March 31, 2022, that was labeled as a critical update is now being labeled as an urgent update that if not downloaded could lead to your device becoming unusable. See the message from Garmin below for more information:
“Garmin has identified an issue that can prevent the affected dog devices from working correctly. The status LED on the affected dog devices will continuously flash red when connected for charging. Installing the latest software will greatly reduce the risk of this issue occurring. If your device is already experiencing this issue, you will require a replacement device.
You can contact Lion Country Supply or Garmin Support (support.garmin.com) for a free replacement device.”
This update is now as an extremely critical update, so if you're running the new TT15X or T5X collars make sure to update your collars with this update!

How to update your T5X or TT15X collar:
Have Garmin Web Updater installed onto your computer.
Snap the charging clip onto the collar.
Plug the small end of the USB cable into the mini-USB port on the charging clip cable.
Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on the computer.
Follow the on-screen prompts on updating your collar.
After updating your collar, we suggest letting it set with full satellite signal for 10-30 minutes to allow all the updates to go into effect as well as for the collar to resync with the satellites.
