Garmin TT15X and T5X Software Update v2.30

Garmin just (May 3, 2022) release software update v2.30 for the Garmin TT15X collar and Garmin T5X collar. This update included several user experience improvements, improvements on GPS acquirement time, and more! This is labeled as a "recommended" update. But if you have not updated to at least v2.28, we highly recommend doing so. For more on update v2.28 see: Garmin Software Update v2.28 Critical Update

*Note: This update does not apply to the TT15 Mini and T5 Mini collars or the older T5 and TT15 non-x series collars.



How to update your T5X or TT15X collar:

Have Garmin Web Updater installed onto your computer.

Snap the charging clip onto the collar.

Plug the small end of the USB cable into the mini-USB port on the charging clip cable.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on the computer.

Follow the on-screen prompts on updating your collar.

After updating your collar, we suggest letting it set with full satellite signal for 10-30 minutes to allow all the updates to go into effect as well as for the collar to resync with the satellites.
