Garmin on 8/7/2024, released a new software update for the Garmin PRO 550 Plus handheld. The Garmin Pro 550 Plus software should be kept up-to-date in order to take advantage of improvements and bug fixes. This release, Version 4.60, adds several new features to the PRO 550 Plus.

The Garmin Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i handhelds have been out for a few weeks now. Now that our staff has got more field time with it and we got to hear feedback from customers, we thought it would be a great time to make a breakdown of the difference between the Alpha 300 and Alpha 200 handhelds.

When it comes to Garmin tracking collars, we have seen a many different variants over the years. Starting with the DC20 way back in 2007, we have since seen the DC30, DC40, DC50, and then finally the T5 family of collars. For the last decade the T5 has been the go-to tracking collars for Garmin GPS systems. This is all about to change with the introduction of the Garmin T20 Tracking Collar.

We are excited to announce what we think is the biggest Garmin product release since Garmin’s launch of the Alpha 100 TT10 system over a decade ago. Introducing the TT25 Collar, T20 Collar, Garmin Alpha 300 handheld, and Alpha 300i handheld! The TT25 and the T20 collars have the most significant improvements that I think we have seen since the TT10 came out.

In this article, we will be breaking down the TT25’s new design features, like the replaceable GPS band, expended life battery pack, Wi-Fi software updates, colored beacon lights, and the new dynamic update rate. Along with these improvements, we will also discuss the new body design and charging clip.

With the new release of the Garmin Alpha 10 handheld, we thought it would be the perfect time to compare the Alpha 100 with the new Alpha 10. In our opinion, customers are going to most likely have to decide between the Alpha 100 and Alpha 10 handhelds as they are the most similar in functionality and features.

Garmin just (June 2, 2021) release software update 3.60 for the TT15 Mini and T5 Mini collars. This update included improvements to the GPS function of the collars. Update size 1.11 MB.
