We just got through our fire arms deer season and as usual for PA we had less than perfect weather. The last day in particular was miserable. I started my sneaking around a bit before daylight in a drenching rain and returned to camp a bit after dark and it was still raining! There was not a period during the day that the rain was less than a drizzle. When you are going to try and stay out in those conditions, it is very important to have the best gear you can get. I cannot believe how dry my UA Storm hoody kept me. All the other guys with their high-priced / high tech heavy duty rain gear were forced back at or before lunch. They were soaked to the core. While they dried out I was able to stay in the woods thanks to the DWR (durable water repellant) finish that Under Armour uses for their Storm gear. I was outside in the rain for 10 hours and was completely dry except for my hands and the first 6-8? of my sleeves. Needless to say all the guys that cut the day short ordered their own first thing Monday.
