Garmin released a new software update (3.20) for the Garmin Alpha 200i handhelds for all regions improving some functionalities, added new setting, and fixing some random bugs.
Change log:
Improved compass accuracy in cold weather conditions
Added new Map visibility setting
Added Auto Start Recording setting
Improved Birdseye direct download stability
Map drawing battery consumption improvements
Fixed some random crashes
Fixed duplicate items on InReach Weather page
How to Update your Garmin Alpha 200i
There are two ways to update your Garmin Alpha 200i handheld.
Note: Garmin suggests that before updating an Alpha 200i handheld, allow the handheld to acquire a satellite GPS fix first. This is especially important for brand new right out of the box handhelds!
